The founder of Australian Diamond Brokers, Varoujan has been designing fine jewellery and bringing dreams to life for over 46 years.
Varoujan made his start taking up the trade of diamond setting at the age of 16. He felt an instant connection with the work, the feeling of the gold and the shine of the stones. The beautiful meditation that designing and diamond setting brought to him just spoke to his soul.
That special connection might also be because his last name translates to diamond / gem merchant!
More than the years of experience and passion for designing fine jewellery, Varoujan has a special warmth of character, big smile and an unmistakable laugh that endears him to his customers and employees alike.

Having joined the team over 20 years ago, Robert has become an integral part of the ADB family.
Robert made his start with ADB as a teenager, joining as an apprentice diamond setter to work side by side with Varoujan, meticulously studying practicing and perfecting this delicate art.
Very early on in his training, his natural talent, “eye” for jewellery craftsmanship and design became evident.
Now with over two decades of experience, Robert’s understanding of jewellery design and craft is unparalleled.
Along with his skills on the setting bench, Robert has an extensive knowledge of diamonds which he shares passionately with new Australian Diamond Brokers clients.
His patience, warm personality, and ability to say it how it is, ensures confidence as he explains every facet of your purchase.

Garren has had a love for diamonds since the age of 8 – when he would visit his father Varoujan in his city workshop and admire the gems from all around the world.
He would spend hours viewing and assessing diamonds under magnification as a young boy, mesmerised by their beauty.
Garren first entered the family business at the age of 19 when he would help out everyday around the workshop after university classes.
This blossomed into further passions such as designing, marketing and his greatest passion – helping customers bring their dream to life.
In 2012 Garren graduated top of his class from GIA – The Gemmological institute of America and is a master diamond grader.
With over a decade of experience at ADB, Garren has endeared himself to his customers with his personable and patient nature, big smile and sense of humour.

Yes, independent grading reports from recognised laboratories like GIA accompany every natural diamond. Our lab grown diamonds are generally IGI certified.

Yes we do. We are one of the few jewellery stores in Australia that still stock and carry a large range of natural diamonds, in almost every shape and colour.
Most of our rings are made in platinum. By request, we will make them in 18k white gold. We use 18k yellow gold for ladies rings, and occasionally 10k or 14k yellow gold for men’s rings. The same with rose gold.
We’re at 70 Castlereagh Street, between Chanel and Bulgari. We are a few metres in from the street front.
